oh it hasn’t got anything too amazing about it - it does the lights but it doesn’t do the sounds iirc the sounds are usually added in post production the prop master of doctor who sells handmade replicas of the current screwdriver via his website (amongst replicas of other things - his shop is like heaven and hell combined to me) and he wrote there in length about the screwdriver’s history on the show, and how much matt pretty much tortured it, and i’m pretty sure that’s where i read about the sounds so he offers to add the sound feature to the replicas he makes with added cost meaning it’s an extra feature and they didn’t add it in the replica i’m following on ebay (which was made by another company, based on the prop master’s original) and you can see it/glance at its glory here
