He didn’t want to feel like that tonight. It was a night meant for celebrating and yet he found himself walking into the garden area of his apartment complex, the twinkling lights of the city seemingly never ending against the dark backdrop of the night.
He didn’t want to feel anything actually...
He was supposed to be at an after party... Somewhere in Seoul, but he found it hard to focus and pretend he was happy about much of anything... Hell it was hard to even breathe right now.
So he’d carried his bottle of scotch and a crystal glass with him as he made his way to his favorite spot that overlooked his neighborhood. His gaze as unsteady as his feet.
To his surprise the seat was taken and he was left stunned and somewhat embarrassed to be seen in this state. However he cleared his throat, running a hand through his hair as he tried to sober up, if only a little.
“Well, fancy seeing you here.” He called out a soft smile turning the corner of his lips. “Isn’t it late for you to be awake?” He tried not to wince at his words, they sounded as though he was nagging.
