Test & tune for my home built drift trike
One of the most recent stages it’s currently at. New HDPE sleeves and rear 3 zone crush bumper since my last outing I got very curb happy with the rear A-frame.
Creating a platform and base stand for the rear axle drum hand brake to initiate drifts and get the drift trike back in line when swinging too wide. When completed, it actually works very efficiently but I do need to figure out a way or a different type of cable where it doesn’t stretch/rip as much as it does now..
Getting a little fancy with some gusset action for the modulated left foot brake pedal. Front brakes are powered by a hydraulic shimano saint 4 piston vented caliper and an oversized 200mm rotor.

A couple of different (expensive) attempts for best steering angle and steering-to-turn ratio. Probably one of the more challenging aspects of this build was getting the proper steering ratio and angle of how the cog was mounted to the steering tube. Good thing about using a chain steering setup is that if allows for a little margin of play
Steering base mount build
How it currently sits, test driving (temporary handlebars) and seeing if it needs any tweaks before going into steering components. Also building a custom lowered (reversed axle) trailer and quick release frame to tow my drift trike around with m daily.
