Considering your art worthy or not based on any numbers given by internet randoms will only hurt you. I'm talking from my own experience as a writer: I used to write kinky things for one very popular online game, where this kink is kinda niche. My tagging was right, my ships went from popular lesser known, they were all one-shots (so not a big deal to read). However, everytime I posted, I felt as if AO3 was hidding my fics: mine get 100 views on the first day, while the others from the same kink, get 500. English isn't my first language, so I struggled a lot with writing process. I hoped I could get my name recognized in time, but nothing like that has happened. I posted 11 fics in 6 months and I doubt if even one has hit 100 kudos. At the same time, I saw really... amateour fics from the same niche gaining X times recognition more.
I write for 11 years. No numbers given by online randoms can change that. I just stopped blessing them with my fics ;>
Your art is yours - just this fact makes it worthy. If you will believe people on the internet too much, you may lose your own identity and opinion. You may start believing things that aren't exactly true.
Please, don't do that to yourself. Don't make the same mistake I did.
I loved your art for years and I will love it in the upcomimg years.

It took me a whole day to reply to this ask because i was so overwhelmed! I know what you mean! I feel the same about the numbers, but sometimes, numbers make me doubt of my art likeness although I try my best to not let that thought get through me.
Sometimes it happens and I get kind of sad, specially because Im so demanding with my skills and what I can deliver. Sometimes I end up hating everything and that's unhealthy for me, since I know it isnt as bad as I see it.
Thank you for your words, you're a sweetheart and i'm so glad you've been following me for years! That means you've seen me improving, getting better and I must say, my art did change a lot for the better.
*hugs tightly* I try my best!
