Writer: googolplexbrown (AO3) Artist: @sappedart Summary: Dean is going to be the 23rd person ever to reach Challenger Deep, one of the deepest parts of the ocean, found in the Marianas Trench. Cas has been alone down there ever since his people all went to sleep long, long ago, with him as the last of the Great Creatures of the Deep. He's used to living in rot and decay and absolute darkness. But now he's very curious about new little glowing thing making its way down into his territory, and thinks it might be interesting to learn more. In which Cas is just trying to explore these cute little creatures and accidentally makes a marine research vessel descend into terror and paranoia. Also one of them is particularly cute and he wants to keep him.

God of the Hunt

Writer: RogueTranslator (AO3) Artist: @hawkland Summary: The Winchesters are hunters who subsist on the animals around their forest home. For as long as Dean can remember, they’ve been favored by Castiel, the God of the Hunt. They aren’t wealthy, but they’ve never gone hungry, and there’s even enough money for John to send Sam to school.

Lately, though, that’s been changing. They’re bringing in less and less game, and John says it’s because Castiel is displeased with them. His hunch is seemingly confirmed when Sam is abducted one day.

When Dean journeys to the Virgin Grove to plead for his brother’s life, however, Castiel informs him that Sam has in fact been taken by Lucifer, the God of the Dead, as part of an ancient settlement that maintains peace among the pantheon. A desperate Dean pledges his soul to Castiel if the Wild God helps him rescue Sam from his fate. Castiel accepts, and the two set out on an adventure that will change them both.

Magically Bonded

Writer: @seidenapfel Artist: @deancodedcastielenby Summary: When his dad catches him making out with another man, Dean runs away. He leaves his little brother behind, and hides in the wilderness, where he stumbles into a stranger's lair. Shocked to find Sam stuck in a little box there, Dean is ready to fight the man responsible for this. But Castiel assures him that he means no harm. The box is only a device that helps him watch Sam - and Dean, as it turns out. The strange visitor from beyond the sky needs the brothers, or rather Dean and his powerful magic. The reveal comes as a shock to Dean who had no idea that he carries magic at all. Castiel offers to train him, because Dean, according to Castiel, is the only one who can save the brother's home world. They have one month left to put aside their animosity. Otherwise, the entire planet and all its inhabitants will be lost. If there only weren't their mutual attraction and the undeniable pull between their magic.

Now, Apocalypse

Writer: @ersatzangel Artist: @free-to-be-impaled Summary: Ten years ago, a comet struck the earth, leading to a global drought. Since then, Roman Enterprises has controlled the water wells, always seeking to take over the few they don’t.

Dean Winchester lived on one of the compounds with access to an independent well, but when they were raided by Roman agents he lost not only the well, but his friends and family, too. The only thing he has left to live for is his brother, Sam, who survived the raid but was taken by Roman agents.

When the mission to save his brother goes south, Dean ends up captured by the mysterious Castiel, one of the humanoid creatures known as Angels.

Castiel has his own reasons for wanting to get into Roman Enterprises headquarters, but Dean doesn’t care what they are. If Castiel can help him rescue Sammy, then great. That’s all that matters to him.

But as they travel through the post-apocalyptic world, in search of the answers they both seek, they grow closer than either of them expected.

Castiel is an outcast among the lunar fae; his condition keeps him hidden away, and his job is beyond unconventional. He's never understood romance but he desperately wants a friend.

They're brought together under the strangest of circumstances, and while things seem good on the surface, tensions are rising. When things come to a head, will pride keep them apart, or will they find a compromise that works for everyone?
