    a SHIVER rattles his spine, and he shudders-- though, he tries to hide it. and he brings his coffee closer to his chest, breathing in the warm air wafting visibly from the mug.     he looks tired. grumpy and tired. and cold.  he hated the cold.  he gave off SO much heat naturally, and yet when it came time for winter (or, right now, ALMOST winter), he never seemed to be able to stay warm enough.  So there he sat at the kitchen table, with his grouchy face and his rigid shoulders.  and then he caught sight of Henry, and his face remained the same. or it did, until hey murmured out a “ -- hey,”  .... and his entire expression softened. “...bundle up today. don’t want you catchin’ a cold.”   there’s a moment of contemplation, and then he hums. “... or don’t, so y’can catch a cold... and then I’ll just have to stay home and keep you nice an’ warm.”  a smile; just as loving and sincere as the day he first told him he loved him.
