#drying nails

Here's a tip for you ladies (or gentlemen, I'm not discriminating), when your nail polish isn't drying very fast just spray some cooking spray on them. I hold it a few inches away from my hand and spray a light coat on then wait a moment and wash my hands. It's quick, effective, and leaves your hands feeling soft.

But my nails aren't dry yet

i'm blogging because my nails are drying. painted them black, but not in some weird attempt to be different. i just like black nails. and most of my other colors have dried out. this one was gloopier than normal, so it's probably on its last leg. bummer. i'm also kinda watching master chef. it's pretty boring though, and the chefs are being extra douche-y. especially the short guy. i have found, however, that a lot of short guys are douche-y. i realize the traits aren't mutually exclusive, but i have met enough short, douche-y guys in my day to connect the two and not feel bad about it. there was just a commercial for a new show where people go back in time and eek out a homestead but they are surrounded by dinosaurs. it's like "lost" meets "jurassic park" meets "lord of the flies." looks pretty awful. but the commercials for the new zooey deschanel show look funny. i think i could dig an indie sitcom, even though i don't really see her doing tv. i think one of the wayans brothers' sons is in it. i think my nails are dry.
