We’ve all heard of dry shampoo. It’s everywhere these days. Drugstore dry shampoo, high-end dry shampoo even travel-size dry shampoo. Everyone has hopped on the bandwagon. But what’s this dry conditioner stuff?
We all use regular shampoo and conditioner when we wash our hair. Dry shampoo was a great invention for those in-between, cant be bothered days. Only makes sense to make a dry conditioner too. But what is it for and what does it do to our hair?
Dry Conditioner, In a Nutshell…
Dry conditioner is for people with dry hair, like myself. I am currently in the process of going back to blonde hair…from red. Yes, this is going to be hard but it’s gonna be worth it. I miss my blonde hair, wah!
In-between hair washes, I often use dry shampoo but the ends of my hair go incredibly frizzy. Just using dry shampoo can sometimes leave my hair looking a little dull and goes static after running a brush through it. Dry conditioner counterbalances this, bringing life back to your hair making it look soft and shiny without looking greasy. Use dry conditioner from the middle to the ends of your hair.
The aerosol spray is designed to distribute the product evenly through the hair. The H&M spray has mastered this. The more expensive Percy & Reed spray has not. I do love this product but the nozzle didn’t spray properly after a few uses and now I have resorted to spraying the product into a brush and combing it through. If I don’t do this, the product leaves my hair looking greasy as too much comes out.

Percy & Reed No Fuss Flawlessness Dry Conditioner – £4 for 50ml or £12 for 150ml.
H&M – They don’t seem to stock this particular hair product on their website. Just to name a few…Cardiff, Bristol, Chester, Liverpool, Manchester and most of the London stores stock the H&M beauty range.
Percy & Reed – This range is available from John Lewis, Marks and Spencer, feelunique and space.NK

Overall I would highly recommend the H&M Hit Refresh dry conditioner. You get so much product for your money and the scent is quite pleasant. It’s a fresh, light floral scent. The Percy & Reed conditioner has a strong hairspray-like scent, not my favourite.
