#dry bones

I forgot how to draw Dry Bones for a moment (and that I had a Tumblr account). Whoops.

The partner gained in chapter 2, Karon is a desert mage who in life was a koopa, now a dry bones. Karon has a faded orange spiked shell decorated with runes, he also wears sandals and a golden headband with a ruby in it. Karon has a mystical demeanour about him, often speaking in poetic metaphors and referring to himself in the 3rd person

Shell Shot: Karon attacks a grounded enemy with his shell

Sand Wave: Karon creates a wave of sand spikes to damage all enemies

Sand Shell: Karon creates a shell of sand around Mario to protect him

The pipe drops Mario off near a town called Chroma Outpost, before he can enter the main area of the desert an old toad tries to stop him

In the desert Mario finds its crawling with spirits, this is because of a curse placed on the land by its ancient ruler, Queen Prisma. This queen was defeated by a koopa desert mage called Karon, who has returned as a dry bones, he can tell that Mario has noble intentions and decides to join him. Karon is the 3rd partner, having the shell toss ability

After a long trek through the desert, Mario makes it to the abandoned palace of Queen Prisma, and inside the spirit of Prisma is found and she's none to happy to see Karon again

When defeated Prisma seems to dissipate into thin air, leaving behind The Sleeping Stone. Mario takes it and awakens the suave and charming Cobalt
