THOUGHTS ON DR. WHO; The first epp came across like an old school traditional monster of the week. Fun stuff, funny monster, the Doctor saves the day.

Second show is a nod to the episodes that touch on the intellectual. It was tricky and forced the Doctor to really think. It also pointed out the trauma that he's picked up in the 15 years since he was forced to say goodbye to Donna. At the end I was left with the feeling that Donna is going to poke at him verbally till he eventually opens up and that will help him get better.
