what are your thoughts on 5x13-5x16?
Okayyy I'm almost done with the season. Last two episodes left but I wanted to share my thoughts before I watch the finale. I'm going to break these asks and do two episodes per post so that it can be easier to read.
The episode 13 was the episode in which Dawn finds out that she was the key. I can still remember the heaviness I felt while watching this episode. I can't even imagine how horrible it must've been for Dawn to find out that her entire life was fabricated. Since I've watched so many episodes today, I can't go into specifics of every single episodes. sorry! I'll take notes from now on. One of the main things that I loved was the bond between Spike and Dawn. I love that he cares and how he treats Dawn. I can see why Dawn feels comfortable with him. Afterall he was the only person who didn't treat her like a kid (Ik she technically still one. Idk about you but I clearly remember being a teenager :) ), especially when the rest of the gang, who has just found out about Dawn started to act weird around her.
Episode 14 and DRUCILLA IS BACK!!!!!! For real this time, no flashbacks. I was slightly impressed to see that Spike was no longer in love with Dru and is completely in love with Buffy. I kinda sorta assumed that Buffy could never hold a place in his heart the way Dru did just like how Spike could never hold a place in her heart the same way Angel did. I thought they would always be a little bit in love with Dru and Angel, respectively. But I was shocked. I'm not saying he definitely would've staked Dru for Buffy but he did beat her up a bit. The main thing I wanted to talk about is Buff's reaction to Spike. Like now I've seen a lot of episodes ahead this one so I know that she would go soft but man, she...
Listen, I don't like it when people go on pressing someone and try to convince them to go out with you. I personally don't think it's really worth it if you have to CONVINCE someone to fall for you. But it is a different case for Spike when you think about it. I don't encourage his behaviour of pestering buffy but I can understand why he thinks that would change her mind. I mean...Look at his ex guys. Dru was into that kinda stuff and Spike's really only been with Dru (I'm not gonna count Harmony). So I understand and hope he'll learn. He already has on some level but yk.
