Some BBCF Act Openings Trivia
1. There’s a script that appears at the start of each that reads thus: (Engrish warning)
Was the world written under someone’s will? Sometime that might be called storyteller, sometime that might be called Anyway the all existance were drove by script or program in that sequence If so, where is all the personality. (Blazblue Crest) Does that really exists? Even if you believe that your will is yours, how can you prove it? Nobody have answer except the one
2. The “Act Number: Title” screens show a crest each in the background. Act 1 shows Nine’s, Act 2 shows Izanami’s, and Act 3 shows the general Blazblue crest.
3. The BBCF logo screens have color themes for each act opening: red for Act 1, yellow/orange for Act 2 and blue for Act 3. (Actually taken from @amatsumugi89, thank you)
4. The opening song in each video has an obvious cut around 1:09 mark.
5. In Act 1, there’s a segment where Ragna and Naoto clashes. In Act 2 onwards, the same segment reappears with Naoto’s hair turning white.
6. In Act 2, after “ACTION” near the end, the word changes to “FICTION”. In Act 3, it changes to “REVALATION” instead. (It doesn’t change in Act 1, btw.)
7. The blue sphere in the beginning is depicted normally with a bit of crack in Act 1 and then gets blown up at the top in Act 2 onwards.
8. Different things are shown after “Now time to rebel against the end”: in Act 1, it shows Nine. In Act 2, it shows Izanami. In Act 3, it shows… something floating on the sky that Izanami covers.
9. During the Exceed Accel exhibition, there are different words being shown in each:
Act 1: “EXCEED THE LIMIT”
Act 2: “YOU CAN NOT EXCEED THE LIMIT”
Act 3: “LEAVE NO REGRET BEHIND”
Changes in Act 3 Opening
the Noel vs Jin clash after the Act 3 screen briefly changes to Mu and Hakumen. In the 3 Murakumos screen, instead of doing their winposes, they all dash, but Mu stops in the middle. After Hazama/Terumi screen, it’s Terumi’s face who gets closeup instead of Hazama. The sequence after Ragna’s official art and name is shown, in Acts 1 and 2, involves some fighting, then cuts to Amaterasu floating with the Embryo in the background, then cuts to Naoto vs Hibiki. In Act 3, Naoto vs Hibiki comes right after “some fighting” and after that it cuts to… a big mushroom thingy under which Carl and Relius fight, then cuts to Nine and Izanami’s introduction. In the “Blazblue terms spam” section there’s a translucent image of a blonde girl opening her blue eyes in the background (Mu’s awakening as shown in CS). Before the BBCF logo screen, Ragna is now clashing at close range with Jin instead of being alone.

I’m working on a simpler doujin (Houjin Tenkai, aka that doujin where Celica feeds Ragna.) in the mean time, and I made it through 6 pages before I had a problem I couldn’t solve on my own! I learned some important particles, new kanji, and learned how to make an “if, then” statement in Japanese! Soooo~ just wait a little longer! Once it gets easier, I’ll probably be able to do a lot more~.Â
