If you're still doing oc draws!
This is Zafyna Mizzrym, she's my lolth-sworn cleric!
im just now realising that zafyna's eyes are blue and red, not blue and purple 🤦♂️ i hope you still like it! shes got a very fun colour palette :-)
And let me go ahead and tell you all how much Kythreen loved having to become a "dark consort" to get turned...
...I guess the boy didn't read as many Drizzt books as we thought.
Hi! 40, 45, and 85 for a tav of your choice!
oohhh ill do these for Misfortune!
40. Did your Tav agree to kill the Guardian or did they go talk to them instead?
Honestly, being like kind of just a regular person with a gambling problem made Misfortune feel incredibly out of her depth with the whole Githyanki Crèche thing. She wanted to follow Vlaakith’s orders at first, kind of just being plain scared of the potential consequences, but it wasn’t something she really wanted to do, which made it very easy for the Guardian to talk her down. She did spare them, and was kind of elated that she could.
45. Does your Tav help Mol win against Raphael?
I’ll be honest i think most of my playthroughs were in Act 2 when that bug that just straight up did not show that cutscene was still there (i did not see it or knew it existed until after it was patched!! Thats insane!!), so i don’t think Misfortune got it. But having played through it on another character i can still give my opinion! One of Misfortune’s whole things is that, you guessed it, her luck is kind of shit. If she believed in herself and her choices more it would probably go better for her but her Warlock patron (originator and perpetuator of her gambling addiction) ingrained a lot of doubting and second guessing into her. She lets Gale handle it, backing up his suggestion to help Mol win. It may not be her who did it, but the thought counts!
85. Who did Orin abduct from your party?
Halsin! With Gortash’s warning she was already on edge so she saw the ruse coming when he suddenly stormed through a very locked door in Emperors old cellar of all places, but she is rather worried. I’ve yet to finish her save so Halsin is still out there in the temple but trust me, she’s working on getting him back! Even took Orin’s alliance offer for it to ensure he stays safe.
Hi! For the tav questions may i ask 8, 10, and 20?
8. Where did your character live before the events of the game?
Before the events of the game, Shai was living in the Lower City, having finally had her career as a bard take off enough to get out of Rivington and within the city walls. She's not originally from Baldur's Gate, though, she was born in a backwater town a few days ride south of Waterdeep, and continued traveling south when her mother and brother were killed.
10. What was you tav like as a child?
She was definitely a resourceful little shit (comes with the territory of being an orphan courtesy of Bhaal cultists), and she was not afraid to sass someone if they tried to start shit with her. She also got REALLY good at swiping produce and dried meats from the market stands, and would sometimes use that to her advantage to help other orphans or badly off folk she met on the road.
20. Finally, what does your tav feel as the Nautaloid crashes? Are they scared? Are they thinking of a way to survive?
Oh, Shai is ABSOLUTELY terrified. She's 20 years old, managed to survive Bhaal cultists, spent 14 years in less than savory situations, clawed her way into a stable position as a decently popular bard in the Lower City, only to be kidnapped by mind flayers and tadpole'd, and NOW THE SHIP IS CRASHING?!? She's just hanging on for dear life and hoping to all the hells that she remembers how to cast Feather Fall (spoiler: she does not and she gets knocked out, as we well know from the prologue cutscene).
Bonus picture of the sassiest teifling bard to ever grace Baldur's Gate, featuring her silly wizard:
