My brother's drosha (sermon) on this week's sedra (Torah reading)

The solution to win against Sith : eat them.
Creation by Drosha
I'm loving this debut release entitled A Year In The Life from The Sea of Cortez member Thomas Vincent, aka Drosha. Much like The Sea of Cortez, Drosha's songs are instantly classic. They have a familiar vibe that brings in influences from the 60's, 70's, and 80's while maintaining a modern appeal. "It's Alright" sounds like a nod to the Zombies. "Reaching Out" has a John Lennon meets Built to Spill vibe. "Omni" should be covered by Tanlines. "Take It Away" is a perfect opening with the chant-along vocals and JUNO synth build ups. The final track, "Creation" is an updated surf guitar ballad with a beautiful outro worthy of dramatic film licensing.
Get this EP for only $1 on the Drosha bandcamp.
