The day I tackled the famed Poggio ahead of Milan-Sanremo was in my thoughts this weekend. I miss getting up at 5am to watch the race along the coast and capi, but not quite as much as I missed dropping Mr. Recumbant’s ass in my way up the Poggio. That was one of life’s sweet moments.
