WALL SECTION AT FACADE _ GENSLER
renovation of an existing building; the tower's heavy concrete facade panels were replaced with high-performance glazing and operable windows at the ground and top levels, allowing for natural light and ventilation to passively flow throughout the public spaces.

A - Unitized curtain wall attached to outriggers (steel elements to connect glass facade to building structure = slab)
B - Existing structure (a steel structure)
C - Floor-to-ceiling reflective vision glass
D - Window sill extension
note the "dropped ceiling" consisting of wood elements obscuring the ceiling structure and mechanical system elements underneath.
