THIS dress has a wide cloth band at the waist, if fitted in the torso, and has an a-line flow. It has frilly cuffs at the end of the sleeves.

THERE IS NO VELVET OR EVEN FAKE VELVET ON THIS DRESS. THERE IS NO BODICE. THERE IS NO STRUCTURED HIGH NECK. THERE IS NO SMOCKED WAIST. IT IS EMPIRE WAISTED. ALL THE FABRIC IS STRETCHY PLASTIC 'LACE'. And I fucking measured myself and used THEIR measurement guide to choose the size, and it BARELY fits in the bodice and arms. There's no real buttons or zipper, you have to put the dress on head first and hope for the best, because the head hole doesn't expand! It came out of the bag already frayed!! What the actual fuck?! All the other self glazing adjectives they fucking puked up on this page are bullshit too, it's clearly cheaply machine made from whichever manufacturers supply Temu.

Forgive the dirty bathroom pics, I don't have a good way to take outfit selfies lol. But this is clearly a bad knockoff with an entirely different design than whatever dress they are advertising with. What the actual fuck??

I was really looking forward to this, I'm so irritated and disappointed. And now I'm just contributing to the tsunami of global fast fashion waste. I actually spent hours browsing, trying to find a quality dress that I actually liked and would wear again and wasn't made from garbage just to become garbage.

Now I have just over a month to find something that isn't shit and doesn't look like shit. And I immediately initiated the return, but this is fucking stupid. $20 says they're going to make it as difficult as possible, if they even refund me at all. Sixty fucking dollars!!!!!

Oh the belt is low quality too, obviously costume level material and craftsmanship. But I'm keeping it, it is actually close to the advertised product, in looks anyway. It's lightweight, flimsy, and cheap. It's advertised as premium fake leather and a stainless steel buckle, but I have significant doubts.
