Recent archaeological studies have shown that Dromeaosaurus was a prolific skater in its day but life and family rendered it less and less spare time until it stopped skating altogether. If the creed ‘skate or die’ is to be believed, Dromeaosaurus can thus be attributed sole blame for the Cretaceous-Paleogene extinction event which caused the extinction of some 3/4 of life at the time.
