Decided to fully draw and color two pony OCs from my last sketch dump as a warm up. I constantly think of their stories all the time, but I haven’t found the time to devote to them yet.
Drizzledrop is a weather pony who prefers a rainy day, in stark contrast with her sun-based family. Quiet, dour, and only ever able to connect with one other pony in her life, she transferred to the Trottingham Weather Division, where rain falls constantly.
LemonShine is mare born and raised in Trottingham, and desperately tries to keep a cheerful attitude on life. She is practically the walking definition of the phrase “When life gives you lemons”, as she has the worst luck ever. She’s the pony who walks down the street and has a potted plant fall on her head. The only bright side to her bad luck is that it helps with her day job for advertising first-aid kits.
The two meet, help each other fight their respective demons, and heck, even fall in love. Is it weird that they’re my only lesbian OC couple?
