The doctor was used to dealing with patients whose mental integrity was…questionable at best, but the comment from the ‘man’, if he could still be classed as such, was enough to make even him slightly unsettled. Standing by his bag, he glanced at the contents within, ensuring that he had a clear view of the pistol that be kept in a pocket in the lining. One could never be too careful in his line of work, especially not with ADAM use on the rise.
"I’m sorry, could you explain what you mean by that?" he asked, calmly and without emotion, resting a hand on the case in readiness. He wasn’t the sort to be shaken by words alone.
