Another Chance || Drewtorros
Bianca had felt like a jerk when she cancelled on Drew. And she felt like an even bigger jerk when she lied about why she cancelled. She liked him, she really did, and all she wanted was to be around him, but something terrifying had happened and being around people was the last thing she wanted. Still, days after her horrible attack, she agreed to go on that date. It was scary and she didn't know how he'd be, but she knew she had to give it a try or she'd never leave the apartment other than for school again. Getting out of her bed, her body was tired and felt fragile, she hated how this had broken her, but she had never felt so out of control before. She knew she had to leave soon, so she moved as fast as possible. The girl took a quick shower, letting her hair air dry as she moved around her room, picking out an outfit. Looking at the clock, she cringed, knowing she should have left ten minutes before. Quicker than ever, she tamed her wild hair and placed a bit of make up lightly on her face before her frail body moved fast out of the apartment and down to the parking lot, keys and phone in hand.
The brunette drove over to Drew's place, feeling a little better that Drew still didn't know where she lived. She worried that whoever was stalking her wouldn't be happy with the fact that she was seeing someone, since this man stalking her seemed infatuated with her. But she hated thinking about that, so she shook it from her head. Pulling up to his house, she saw him walk out and smiled, wondering if he had just been waiting for her. As he walked towards her car, she smiled and spoke as the side door opened, "Sorry I'm a little late, but I'm here, so that's better than last time." She teased herself really, feeling a relaxed and calming sensation come over the moment he was in her presence. Once he got into the car, she drove away from the curb, really happy to be getting this second chance at a first date, "Hey, I just wanna say thanks for this. I know when a girl cancels a date, it's kind of a let down, but I really really wanted to go on a date with you. And I know I sound like a loser right now, but.. whatever." She rolled her eyes at herself, sighing a bit in embarrassment, but she wanted him to know that she had wanted that date before and she was grateful to finally get it.
