Drew and Sean, I think, are two sides of the same coin. Heh. Some of my ideas/headcanons per se are sprinkled in.

Drew deflects his emotions and lashes out, spills his baggage and insecurities onto other people, constantly using aggression and believing he should not have full trust in someone, especially like how it was after the drake-up. He thinks that it's not his fault, and they're all out to get him, or maybe all his friendships were just lies. He pushes his burden onto the people around him to keep it off his chest, to keep it off himself, so that he can feel like a good guy. He hates dealing with that burden.

I think Sean also deflects, but his ways are constantly sugar-coated with reassurance; "it's okay", "I'm fine", etc. He deflects his own insecurities and keeps them to himself, purposefully avoiding the process of opening up to people in possible fear that he'd just burden them. He'd much rather stay as most closed as he can when it came to his own emotional stability. When it's anyone else, he's happy to help the, out with their issues. He's vague when it comes to his own life, only going into detail when doing inner monologue. He doesn't want anyone suffering from his pain.

Sean deflects to avoid giving anyone else his burdens.

if I see ANYTHING that looks like Drew’s abt to sing in s2 then I’m skipping the song SO quick
