oh, nice, great. what a great start. spes doesn’t scream just because he’s too controlled for that (and because, come on. ray is 12. not exactly the strongest creature on the glade right now), but he can’t hold back a groan of pain. he gazes up, closes his eyes, tilts his head with quite the annoyance. oh, the pirates are sure laughing right now, from their first-class seats, staring at him. the one that has to prove he’s by their side, when he really isn’t. that just got stomped on his foot. har har.
after a moment, his eyes open again, and he’s now staring directly at rayman. a poor kid, who only got scared by his appearance, a man almost considered dead by so many people, that made a fireball explode next to him and ordered him to give him the mask, or die. it must have been a shock. it certainly was only saying it, even though it was only a lie to prove he’s loyal to a group he’s not loyal to. he hates this. he hates this so much.
suddenly, he throws a hand forward, grabbing rayman by the collar of the shirt, moving him closer. the other hand rises, a snap, and fire begins to crackle through the fingers, colouring their faces with red and orange lights. « ray. » he murmurs, just a whisper, but made while staring in his eyes, calling for his attention, begging for him to listen and understand.
« you need to win this, okay? »
and he leaves his shirt, just before calling fire in a ball, and throwing it in his direction.
