This is probably my first outdoor exploration dream since I started this journal. I have dreamt with the outside yes, but it has been either in a story dream or in a non-lucid context. It was a short section in this dream but it marks a change on a pattern I have been noticing.
The scenario must've taken a lot of inspiration from my grandparents' neighborhood as the streets were too steep to walk that there were stairs and railings so going up was safer, just like in the waking world. The first walk must've been meant to be an introductory dream, because I was then thrown into a vastly different scenario.
I was walking into the big mall, with an unnamed dream npc and my friend from preparatoria/hs. She looked vastly different to the last time I saw her and I felt very conflicted about her being there with me: I was happy to see her, but I couldn't shake off the feeling that we had grown out our friendship long ago, which is probably the case in waking life too.
Anyway for some reason we were looking for a mermaid. In a mall.
I got distracted a couple of times visiting some of the vendors I'm already familiar with from dreaming this place so many times, I was probably also avoiding the feeling I got when near my HS friend.
Anyway one of my side quests with the vendors was trying to get a gift for my friends, as I like treating the people that go out with me when I can.
When I reunited back with my two friends, they were staring down at the floors under us flooded with water. The unnamed friend looked at me as if waiting for something, then it clicked: "Ah, there's no stairs". So I started making a spiral staircase that led way deep into the water.
The unnamed friend nodded and walked down, when she was at the edge of water, she dived in and while I couldn't see it I kinda knew that she turned into a mermaid and swam into the flooded area to meet with someone else, leaving me to walk back out with my friend.
I remember I said something along the lines "I had fun being your friend, even if it wasn't during the best portion of our lifes. I'm happy you're still out there" and she replied something I can't remember and stayed behind as I kept walking to the exit.
In a magic portal fashion, crossing the door led me to walk downstairs my grandparents house. I stopped at the last step and heard my younger aunt bitch about politics and how she wasn't wrong for who she voted for or something like that, my mom was quiet, my grandma just listened to her but kept making her rant more and more. Then my grandpa came out of the kitchen in front of me and asked me about what I was carrying, pointing at my hand.
I look down at my hand instead of rising it and I see my glass pen wand that I use for readings, but I didn't know how to reply to my grandpa so I told him it was a gift someone gave me.
I then walked out of the house and resumed my walk around the neighborhood, leaving scribbles on the trees, on the cement, on the dirt and somehow even on the clouds. My legs felt warm and I felt at peace, looking around at old houses and steep streetsโฆ all slightly covered by white fog.

It finally happened! Two fully lucid dreams, both possibly connected to two previous locations and even a continued scenario from a previous dream from a couple days ago.
One of them is even part of the same world where I met the dream npc version of my partner. Up to this point, I've only explored a very big mall but I've always wondered how it looked like on the outside, so I'm very excited about that!
However, this took to much energy from me so and I woke up scared by a loud noise, so I have been struggling to remember everything properly. But I'll do my best to archive it as detailed as I can!
I think this marks the start of the mapping of two new dreamscapes since my ego split. But anyway, back to the dream archive!
As I mentioned, I was fully lucid for both of these dreams, so I don't know if I should count the first one as an introductory dream. I have the feeling that the introductory dreams are meant to help me warm up and allow me to enter a lucid state to witness the dreams that are shown to me.
Anyway, I was spawn in a different location from the convention center I mentioned in an earlier entry but still in the same world.
In the dream, I had recently found a water park I wanted to go to and I was looking for people that wanted to go hang out there with me. This is actually like the 3rd time I dream with a water park in my adulthood. One of them was very similar to this one but I can't be sure if it's supposed to be the same one.
For some reason, after checking in and settling near one of the pools, we all had to go back inside to take an odd school-related test. I didn't have to take it (as I'm graduated already) so I sat down on the side while waiting for the rest to finish, while waiting I suddenly spotted a girl across the street walking towards an abandoned convenience store.
She goes in through a hole in a wall and after a while she comes back out with a backpack full of snacks and holding a bag of chips that she's eating as she crosses the street to get into the building me and the dream NPC's are in. As soon as she gets closer to me, I ask about the whole ordeal and she explains the way she got in and how there's a bunch of goodies still inside that will be thrown away anyway soon because they will be demolishing the place.
So I thank her and stand up and walk out the building, I figured I would bring some extra snacks while the rest of the group finishes their tests. But here's when I woke up by a loud noise.
It was 6AM, still pretty early to wake up on a Saturday, so I wrote down keywords on my phone about the dream to help me remember later and I went back to sleep.
In this next dream, I opened my eyes and something inside me felt immediately familiarized with the scenario and environment. As I slowly became more aware and lucid inside the dream, I realized it was a direct continuation of the big house dream.
We had settled on going to hang out at the mall for a little while, when we arrived I slowly recognized the mall as one location I haven't get to talk about on this blog but that I have dreamt multiple times. It's basically a massive mall that expands for multiple blocks and has multiple accesses, I often dream with this place when I'm struggling with my ED and I have specific cravings I can't fulfill awake; but I have also had a very wholesome dream where I met my partner in person (we're in a LDR irl) and we were on two different accesses.
I will write about this dream and the mall itself on a different post one day, this entry already has too many tangents that I want to aboard but can't right now. So! For now, let's get back to the dream:
We walked around the right section of the second floor for a little while until something made us all feel a bit uneasy and decided that it was time to leave and specifically go to bed. So I followed my friends as I slowly started to recognize them (I can recall they were meant to be people I know irl, I'm almost certain one was my partner's dream version but I can't recall who was the other friend) to a different building.
At first I thought it was a hotel because of how fancy it looked like but after realizing how familiar my friends were with it, I realized it was meant to be an apartment building. So I slowly figured out that contrary to what I thought originally, they were not living with me on that non-lucid dream but rather just visiting.
As we made it o the building, I started to feel like I didn't want to leave their side so I shyly asked if I could stay for the night and they very nicely said yes. I unfortunately didn't get to see the inside of any apartment because I soon started to wake up and now I decided to actually get out of bed.
