25.   how do they see themselves 5 years from today?

lucas during the events of the show has a very hyperfixated view and admiration for the military,  so i wager he’d place himself firmly in a ranger   /   soldier role much like his dungeons and dragons self.   a very traditional 80s kid view per se,  lucas plays a big part in representing the pressure placed upon boys at a young age to protect and serve for their country,  speaking about ‘nam and respecting the history of people like hopper.

so yeah   !   he definitely pictures something moreso army - based or at the very least in that general field of work,   i.e. joining the police force,  becoming a firefighter or what have you,  all very stereotypical go - to roles for Men(tm)
