i've been finding more and more things i like about Lost in Translation the more i watch it. i totally missed the meaning behind bill murray singing "more than this" during the karaoke scene until very recently. do you have movies like that?
i would say my appreciation for edgar wright films has grown upon each rewatch because i catch more subtle gags and obscure references, especially in his cornetto trilogy. i also like nymphomaniac upon each rewatch because it’s amusing to see lars von trier’s hardon for tarkovsky, two filmmakers i also really like

She secretly organized an army made up entirely of girls and successfully conquered the city, stealing its fabulous wealth and enslaving all the men and boys."
