#dream fall

Something that started as a ‘simple project’ that got WAY out of hand, but turned out beautifully all the same. I mostly just wanted to draw that hair, the earrings and star eyes were secondary motivations though. 

A couple of lads who are the MCs for my current comic project called Dream Fall.

The first boy is named Lee Young (technically Lee Young-Jun, but his parents pulled the ‘we live in america now so lets westernise that name’) and he’s a private investigator with a growing reputation in Nocturne City. That said, there’s a personal ‘case’ he’s failed to solve for a few years now and its left his confidence rather shaken, so he takes on a rather odd case, because maybe if he can solve this one, he can solve the one that keeps getting away from him. Also the intern at the place who just hired him seems AWFULLY familiar for some reason...

The second boy is Vincent del Rosario, a new intern at Dream Fall Technology. Though he’s only an intern, he shows a lot of promise...or would if he wasn’t constantly undercut by one of the head scientists. Vincent is cheerful and enthusiastic about his job and is more than happy to explain how things work to Lee, but there does seem to be an air of sadness when Vincent speaks with him (and spoilers: its because he knows Lee already, but Lee doesn’t recognise him because Vincent has transitioned since the two saw each other last)
