i think people dismiss the fact that ace survived all of these deaths before actually dying, the fact his execution included so many way of dying but people dont talk enough about it π it makes me sad because we are still overlooking what he had to do in order to survive!!
also i need to address how a cardiac arrest isnt exactly something less painful than your regular danganronpa death, you still suffer through the process of having your heart literally trying to explode (metaphorically), not to mention that ace was probably having so many anxiety attacks as he suffered through almost being burned, drowned, electrocuted, etc
i actually liked the "simplicity" of this execution, using someones phobia to fuck their lives isnt the best thing to do and might be more fucked than using your talent, because it just duplicates the pain and fear through the process. imagine if someone had thalassophobia and was forced to die drowning deep down somewhere in the ocean? terrible
the fact the execution was prolonged as well, like teruko mentioned, with levis life in line, its honestly cruel. it was a fight for his survival vs saving a dear friend of his (despite he denies it lol)
