#Repost @draxwd with @repostapp ・・・ Milano ■■■□■ 2010 .... These pieces were the last pieces that me and Robbo did together. We caught tags, did some throw ups and even half finished some 'panels' (got chased out) after this, but this was our last 'successful piecing session' . It rained insessecently all day, but we marched on! To be honest Robbo could be a hideous 'toys out of pram' merchant when he 'pieced'. I'm slow, but I'm quite determined to finish and I nearly always do. Rob was a serial 'non finisher!'. Him suddenly wiping his entire piece out in a huff and walking off in a rage was not an uncommon occurrence. But on this day in Milan he was a different person. He was resolute and torrential rain aka "poxy fuckin' Eyetie weather" or any other obstacles were not going to stop him! We stood there for hours literally dripping wet and we got our shit done! I dunno if Robbo had mellowed with age or maybe his recent flirtations with the art/gallery world had made him more relaxed about painting. I've no idea, but I do believe he was in a different place that day. He was a man on the cusp of a new era in his graffiti writing journey! Despite the weather this was a really fulfilling day's painting that we had together and I looked forward to having many more! .. Sadly that wasn't to be, but the nonetheless This was a good day!
