What inspires me....l am often drawn to trees and water. This image is drawn in 2b pencil on oil sketch paper, then l have popped it in #picsart to enhance the tones for your viewing. I have shared the #pencilsketch #digitalart and original inspiration. The orginal photograph was taking by me at Elanda pt Noosa. It's been a very dry spell this year in my art practice, l have not felt compelled to draw and paint ,l have felt a bit uninspired, a bit lost,as have many of my artists friends . I hope with this drawing ,the tides are turning. "Art of nature " A workshop using FOUND objects and equipment found at home. But if you are looking for an activity in lockdown for your children or yourself, enjoy!!! IT'S SIMPLE, Place pape(r computer paper )will do over leaves or flowers, rub with lead pencil,create a rubbing. Using cutting tools or scissors cut out a few at a time . Then place the stencil cut out over the top of another sheet of paper and sponge in paint (any will do even food coloring) Move paper around the page ALLOW for dry time and create layers and design using various shapes,turning page all around to get different shapes. Fallen Autumn leaves will be the outcome. Use any colours in different layers. It will create 3D effect....the more layers the better it will look. Then if you like you can outline with markers of gel pens in the dry. It's a great activity for all ages ,a way to connect with your children , the end result can be done on card ,canvas or even calico fabric.
