Been meaning to make something into my BERM' letters. Still more to be done [with ALL race/sex issues], but the past months has had some successes in these adaptive times with people being active in civil rights and social economics. Even if its simply talking about it or accepting the reality. If you haven't attended anything by now, I don't know what's your beef or what invitations you're looking for. All demonstrations are more surreal then media's commentary will ever be. How do you want to remember 2020? Through a small screen? Its impossible to agree on everything, I know, but there's no argument here. Stop killing with gang mentality. Stop making decisions based on sex or race. Acknowledge mental health and dont shoot someone for it. The list continues in terrorizing citizens. Fear and order is keeping you inside weather you see it or not. Funk Dat. Stay safe, but also live your life and be with those that care about you as well as strangers. This is my message from a Queens Native. . . 🇪🇨🇵🇷 I feel the need to share my ethnicity since I've already come across ignorant people on both sides because of my light skin. Weather they felt "safe" in saying racist comments, to denying me to contribute or paint something because, "we don't need white people". Just the sad truth Ruth. Don't loose the message. And don't DM me, cuz I'll just post it in the comments. . . . . #bermeoNYC #contemporary #contemporaryart #draweveryday #drawingnetwork #lettering #markers #abstraction #mixedmedia #instagram #paintingoftheday #letters #newyork #artwork #visualart #instaart #instaartist #abstractart #contemporarypainting #blackamdwhite #blacklivesmatter #blm #drawdaily #follow4follow #marker #graff #graffiti (at Jackson Heights) https://www.instagram.com/p/CCElleYnn3k/?igshid=7lljv204ye41
