It finally ended. I have a fair number of mixed feelings. DotE was the story that introduced me to the modern isekai genre and inspired my own, and the story was great starting out. The longer it went on though... it really lost its way. Most of the time I was wondering what the plot even was anymore, huge aspects seemed to be tossed aside, there were too many filler chapters, and the satisfaction of the end, for me, was more a relief of not having to buy more chapters than getting to the end. The comic had long overstayed its welcome.
