It was something that had become sort of a rarity in the last couple months. Both Drake and Chace had an extended period without a singe gig in their schedule. It seemed as though once they decided to take their relationship into a more serious level, they both became busier than ever. Drake wouldn’t complain because the work was a good thing for the both of them. It was a great thing, really. However, he did miss the time they used to constantly spend together. But now they had two whole weeks where they could do whatever it was that they pleased.
And what was that currently? Video games. A game Drake had been trying to beat for almost a month by that point. It was a few days into their ‘vacation’, some time late in the afternoon. They took turns, switching off controllers each time the character died, triggering a ‘game over’ screen. Currently it was Drake’s turn, and he spent a good portion of it rambling about the game — the features, the controls, the original game it was a remaster of. He had been so consumed in both the game and his own words, that he only thought to look over to Chace when he finally advanced to the next level. He expected him to be on his phone or doing something else to pass the time, but was almost surprised when brown eyes found the other’s hazel hues, at full attention.
It was a small gesture, sure, but it was a enough to put a smile on his face — which was a lot considering the level he just had to endure. He leaned over, pressing a kiss to the taller’s lips as he set the controller into his lap. “Your turn. How about I go make us some drinks? I don’t see this game getting any easier.” He teased, words spoken once he slightly pulled back from the kiss.
