“I don’t cherish memories. I only recall them, review them and note what I have to improve on myself.” It was a lie, of course. There was one particular memory that Thorn often recalled with great fondness. He was a teenager back then, still struggling to survive alone; he met a boy, a few years older than he, and was called Sehun. He had been wandering about the public library when he came across the other male who was sitting by a desk with a thick book on mythology open. It wasn’t a particularly grand meeting considering they didn’t make contact other than the smile Thorn was flashed, but it was what led to a peculiar relationship which catapulted him into a whirlwind of, well, let’s call it a success of sorts.

“Sehun? He was… quite gullible, really; very reckless, silly, a virgin at the time–at least before I came along, and actually very intelligent. He was the type of person I didn’t and still presumably don’t like: full of life. He was the annoying splatter of vivid color across my blank canvas, and if there’s one thing I’m thankful of him it’s his vulnerability to emotion. I’m not one to brag but he was captivated with me. I never even knew why. But it was because of that that I was able to steal money. Call it despicable if you will, I call it an act of survival.”

“Everything I can get my hands on as long as the writing style intrigues me. I’ve read biographies, historically inspired fiction, pure fiction, academic textbooks--out of curiosity, folktale collections, and poetry.”

“When I wake up I see flowers hanging over my head, my wings have a habit of cocooning me whilst I sleep; so the first thing I do once conscious is to sit up, stretch my wings and bathe in the warmth of sunlight before retracting them and showering. I have to let the flowers breathe before getting on with my daily routine.”

He regards the other for a while in silence, before murmuring in a quiet tone, “I could give the same to you.” Honesty is present in his tone, and by now it is a rare occurrence for the muse to find curious interest in anything.

- He does have a very slight accent but just for fun, let’s call it a space cowboy accented korean. Or a Tharsis accent.

- Chanyeol’s view of himself is pretty neutral. He doesn’t necessarily feel that he’s a bad guy, but he doesn’t believe he’s a good guy either.

- Another good question! Chanyeol currently does not have a religion, but he does believe in God.
13. Have they ever been so overwhelmed they had to stop and take a break from something?
- This actually happens whenever he has a nightmare. His nightmares usually leave him so emotionally overwhelmed it takes him a day or two to recover. He’ll often leave or avoid his friends by either locking himself in his apartment or just avoids them until he feels better because he doesn’t trust himself to be around those he knows.

17. Is your character an introvert or an extrovert? How do they handle big crowds of people?
- Extrovert! He’s used to big crowds (a good number of his hunts where in crowds of people, his favorite being at large restaurants or casinos) He doesn’t mind the hustle and bustle and actually finds crowds of people amusing and fun to watch.
19. If your character was suddenly challenged, would they rather run away or stay and fight?
- stay and fight. It’s very rare for Chanyeol to back down from a fight… only unless the bounty worth is really low and the fight is more difficult than what he thought it to be then he’d rather run.
21. Your character has been granted 3 wishes; what would they wish for and why?
- A new ship. So he could get back home and go back to what he used to do.
- A couple of bounty heads worth at least 600 mil woolong (the currency on Mars.) so he can live an easy life on his ship, eat beef whenever he feels like it, and not have to worry about saving money.
- uh, for Ed to stop staring at him while he sleeps. It’s getting kinda weird.
23. Do they prefer romance or affection? What is the quickest way to your character’s heart?
- He prefers affection over romance any day. The quickest way to win his heart is to simply be you self. That’s it. He has little interest in people who try to be something they’re not and go out of their way to impress him.
25. Do they have any weird bedroom habits? Any unusual kinks?
- The only slightly weird bedroom habit he has is avoiding eye contact whenever someone enters his room. He’s a private person and mostly likes to keep those away from his personal space because coughs blueprints, blue prints everywhere. He has no unusual kinks. Just your average joe in the bedroom.
27. If your character had one thing to say to their parents before they died, what would it be?
- Considering he doesn’t have parents because they died when he was just a child he’d probably would tell them something to the effect of ‘leave in peace,’ He doesn’t really think of them that often because he doesn’t remember them.
29. Does your character get restless when things are too quiet or do they favour solitude and silence? Why?
- He does sometimes get restless whenever things are too quiet but not often. He prefers solitude and silence so he can work in peace (or sleep) and not worry about other people disturbing him. This is why he spends most of his weekends in the abandoned warehouse.
“I am always okay.” He mutters, golden irises flicking up from the broken cell phone in his hand. His anger has caused him to squeeze it until it has nothing but a crumpled piece of what it used to be. “This does not appear to be.”
He hates technology.

The muse almost found it humorous, the dry way his company responded, crushed device in hand and all. A corner of flush lips ticks upward, though it levels again as he speaks. “No, it doesn’t.” The elevator the two were in continued its decent, silence once again ebbing between them.
