This year, the last film of the trilogy will try one last time to get the Oscar. Here’s hoping this trilogy will finally be recognised as the masterpiece it is ♡

IT WAS EVERYTHING I WANTED AND MORE

*the next paragraphs will be about how I feel about the film - no spoilers, just thoughts*

I’m truly blown away by the last film. I was speechless. My face is full of happy and sad tears .. I cried, I laughed, it was just beautiful.

The animation, the soundtrack, it was just so perfect and I’ve fallen in love all over again ❤️

If you’re a How to Train Your Dragon fan, I can guarantee you, you’ll love this film just as much as the first two. It’s like my life was missing something and now it’s complete after seeing the last movie. I feel so whole and full of love.

Please go watch How to Train Your Dragon 3 in cinemas when you can, it’s such a beautiful movie with gorgeous animation.

So which date exactly is the release date for the new movie? I’ve seen so many different dates I can’t keep up!

The most recent one I’ve seen is 3rd January 2019, which was posted on the How to Train your Dragon Facebook page.

Dean DeBlois, director of the How To Train Your Dragon films answered this question on reddit from user rysler:

Q: “Hello Mr. DeBlois, thank you for doing this!I've heard it said that HTTYD1 was about a boy finding his best friend, and HTTYD2 was about a boy becoming a man. So does part 3 have a similar theme?”

Dean DeBlois:

A:  “ It was very deliberate that each installment of Hiccup’s growth features a rite of passage. The first movie was about learning to accept yourself, in spite of your weaknesses. The second movie was about the transition of youthful abandon to adulthood. The third movie focuses on — it’s about finding the courage to let go. That in itself is a universal rite of passage. Whether they are faced with letting go of insecurities, or those who follow their destiny.”

Never thought I’d be addressing this lmao but if you can’t tell by my blog I’m not very active on tumblr at all, and only come on here every once in a while.

I came back today with three messages from someone, and after not me not replying to their first messages (which I never saw until today) they said they were blocking me. Which they did.

Just makes me laugh tbh, like they really felt the need?

So to anyone who does try to message me on here I’m sorry if I don’t get back to you as soon as possible because I don’t really use tumblr like I used to. And I love to chat so if you do message me I would never ignore you purposefully, its just literally that I hardly use tumblr anymore...
