Seto was focused entirely on whatever he was doing on the computer, fingers flying across the keyboard and eyes never leaving the screen. Mokuba reached up to poke his shoulder a couple times, but got no reaction, so he lowered his hand and just watched.

Mokuba could pretty much tell instantly how long his brother had been at this, from the slight squint of his eyes as they darted across the lines of code to the fact that the full mug of coffee next to him was ice cold. He sighed again, sliding back off the desk to walk around to drape himself casually backwards across Seto's lap.

"Hi, Seto," he said with a grin up at him. The sixteen year-old didn't react for another long moment, and Mokuba frowned, but finally dark blue eyes flicked down.

"Hello, Mokuba," he said quietly, in that tone he usually got when he'd gone the whole day without saying anything. "Did you need something?"

"Nope!" He replied brightly. "I was just checking on you. Do you know what time it is?"

There was a pause, and then Seto shook his head once. Mokuba rolled his eyes and reached up to poke his brother's cheek in annoyance. "It's ten. At night," he told him sternly. "You've been working for fourteen hours straight, Seto. Did you eat lunch?"

Another pause, and Seto didn't answer, which was 'no' in Seto-speak (Mokuba was an expert). Mokuba groaned, putting his hands over his face, before sliding off Seto's lap to turn and start tugging him to his feet. "C'mon, Seto, we're gonna go have dinner," he said firmly. "You can finish that tomorrow."

"But--" Seto began, but trailed off at Mokuba put on his best pleading face. He sighed, groaning quietly as his little brother immediately grinned -- he knew he'd won, Seto never could resist the face -- and standing. "Fine," he said, defeated. "Tomorrow."

"Yay!" Mokuba said happily, pulling him out of the office as soon as Seto saved his work and shut down the computer. He did this often enough for it to be a problem, lately, and Mokuba dragging out of his office like this was usually the only way to get him to eat and sleep. It was worrying, but there really wasn't much else he could do about it.

And he knew that if he didn't do something, Seto would probably sneak back to the KaibaCorp building and continue working after Mokuba went to bed, because he'd caught him doing it before...but this time he wouldn't, Mokuba decided, because he had a plan.

Once they got back to the mansion, dinner went well enough -- he actually got Seto to talk, and about something other than his work or Duel Monsters; talking about Kaiba Land and ideas for new attractions instead. It was kind of rare that they could do that, and it was really nice to be able to get Seto excited about that.

They split up to get ready for bed, but this time Mokuba threw his pajamas on and booked it back to Seto's room, flopping back onto his bed and waiting for him.

"...Mokuba?" Seto frowned in confusion when he came back in from the bathroom, raising an eyebrow. "What are you doing in here?"

"Waiting for you, duh," he replied with a grin. "I miss you when you're gone all day, so I wanted to spend the night in here!" He stared up at Seto, and the flicker of realization on his face made Mokuba grin wider -- busted, big brother.
