I feel like I should've explained what an Esper/Espers are before writing more headcannons. Ahaha... Oops.

Espers are regular people who now posses abilities from gods or goddesses. Not all of them though, some posses abilities from other mythological beings like sirens, Valkyries and more.
In this game world, Espers use their abilities to battle beings known as Miramon. However the more Espers that are revealed, the chaos ensues.
Each Esper has their own charm that makes them appealing to the player. When selecting one in the gallery, the Espers have their own voice lines and description on who gave them the power and their own personality.
Bear with me here cuz I geeked out a bit.
Within Dislyte, the player can build a team of five Espers to battle with and level them up. 12 chapters, 16 stages, and a story to tie it all together. In the more stronger your team, the more rewards you'll get.
