Watching the battle end with a final flick of a simple attack, Steven rose a brow and smiled at the victor on the stadium. He recognized her to be Iris, the Unovan Champion that had just been appointed her spot not too long ago. Her battle skills were unknown to him aside the fact that she uses Dragons to conquer over her opponents. Interesting, he wanders as he adjusts his cravet so that way it wasn’t too tight. His turn was coming soon enough and already he was craving for a good fight. That’s when he heard the announcer. 

Announcement: The Champion’s Tournament Double Battle continues on! Next up on our roster is the Champions from Hoenn and Johto. Heir to the Devon Corporation and wandering stone collector, Steven! Joining him in our double battle is the Dragon Master, Lance! 

So he was being paired with the Dragon Master? This would work out since his Dragons could fend for his Steel-type’s weaknesses and vice-versa. Grinning, the silver Champion made his way to the doorway and waited for Lance to show up. It didn’t take long for him to see the familiar Champion step along beside him. “I hope you’re ready, Lance. We want to give them a show, so lets show them how strong our pokemon can be.” 

Steven chuckles, smiling before the signal was given. It’s time to walk up the stairs and onto the stage. Feet planting on the stage floor, Steven looked around and bathed in the crowd’s attention. Ah yes, this is what he wanted. The adrenaline of a good pokemon battle always did good on the soul. Before long the announcer came back on, booming over the crowd’s cheering. 

Announcement: On the other side we have the trainer that has trained all around the world, Pallet Town’s very own Ash Ketchum! Accompanying him as his battle partner is our Region’s Champion, the girl who knows the hearts of dragons, Miss Iris! Please come forth!

That name, Ash, was very familiar to him. His eyes darting to the other side of the stage, Steven felt himself smirk as he glanced over at Lance. “Oh, I think we’re in for a treat. Not only is Unova’s Champion going to battle us, but Ash is as well. I don’t think we’re going to be disappointed.” He said while finally seeing them start forward on the other side. The crowd’s cheer grew louder as they approached. “So, looks like our battle schedule came pretty fast, huh Ash? I must say i’m pretty excited.”

I’ll try to answer for both when available.

First impression: (Anime) “Who is this? Oh you’re name is May? Okay.” I don’t really recall how I felt, whether I liked or not or what, but by the end of the second episode I remember I started to like her and didn’t mind Misty being gone much by then.

(Game) “Oh it’s May!” cause I knew the anime counterpart first and played Sapphire later, so it was so amusing to me to see her in the game. XD

Impression Now: (Anime) I miss her so much! She had great development as a character. Starting from a girl scared of Pokemon and not sure what she wanted to do to finding her goal and now independent enough to decide where she wanted to do on her own, I loved her. I miss all her Pokemon of course, but I definitely miss her Skitty the most. It was a package of joy.

(Game) While I’m not a huge fan of the friendly rival, especially since it’s practically all we get anymore, May always had that level of sweetness no one else got. So I still appreciate her for that.

Favorite Moment: (Anime) That’s hard to point to. Whenever she showed concern for Max like in the episode she gave up the hunt for her last ribbon to look for him instead. That one always sticks out to me the most. Another funny moment was when May ordered Torchic to use “Amber” instead of “Ember”.

(Game) The scene at the Mossdeep Space Center! Hoennshipping forever! <3

Idea for a story: (Anime) May finds the anime counterpart for Brendan and they get married. The end.

(Game) May and Brendan get married. The end.

Unpopular Opinion: I'm never going to get over that she lost to Dawn in the Wallace Cup. Like, I know we’re with Dawn (at that point) but man, May deserved that more and I’ll just never get over it. Also, seeing as how some were upset over my comment that I didn’t like Solidad, I guess this belongs here too. I don’t like how she lost to Solidad either.

“You beat the rival you’ve been losing to for three seasons! Yay! Now...let’s make you look like a newb again for our older character that kids look at and go “Woah, she’s amazing cause she’s an older character”.”

And, also I know this isn’t “unpopular” but I need to say it here again. Blaziken evolved WAY TOO LATE. Same with Ash’s Sceptile. If there’s a number 1 thing I can name that worked against the AG series, that’s it hands down.

I don’t have an unpopular game May opinion, sorry.

Favorite Relationship: (Anime) I do like Contestshipping. But of course, our anime-verse Hoennshipping is number 1 to me. ;)

(Game) Do I even need to say it? I am anyway. Hoennshipping! :D

☼: What is your muses favourite kind of weather?

Sunny is always preferable weather when traveling and delivering. Though his Arcanine can withstand any weather, it makes it easier on him, his sister and their Pokemon if the weather is clear. 

✉: What is something your muse would write about?

Any adventure that comes up. Such as the one with Ash where they had to get the fire stones back from Team Rocket and helped Ash ride Arcky. 

Another time I can come up with is a time a flying Pokemon business dropped a package and the Arcanine found it, leading to a boost in their business.
