Silver becomes worse every day but no one knows because he doesn't want to worry anyone and he's the expert at hiding his emotions. The apple never falls far from the tree, whether it's the fae tree or the human one it makes little difference...

A little twist I'd like to add is that even though most dragons are territorial and hostile, Silver is the exact opposite, clinging and possessive. His body recognizes Malleus as an older and bigger dragon so he subconsciously seeks him out, looking for praise, validation and -seven's forbid- a head pat. Meanwhile Malleus doesn't understand why his territorial instincts keep flashing whenever Silver is near as though warning him of an imminent threat. Sebek doesn't understand why Silver is winning even more spars than usual. And Lilia doesn't understand why he keeps finding scales everywhere.

This could be a wholesome story about how Diafam realizes Silver's predicament and help him through his transformation OR a very angsty concept where Silver faces a very painful transformation alone while also learning the truth about his parentage and trying to run away or worse.

Btw this only works if Silver is the whitiest most etheral dragon with the most gorgeous sunset eyes. I don't make the rules. He's the ying and Malleus is the yang and together they all suffer.
