Real life dragon boats!
These stones and these carvings are over 1000 years old. I like to think about what was going through the original carver’s mind when they sculpted these animals. Did they think that they’d last this long? Were they proud of their creations? Did they carve them for the temple, for their own artistic endeavors, or both? Were they humming a tune as they worked? What was the tune? It’s the little things that fascinate me.
