The air is warm, and Miku is sweating. She’s wearing three coats and a big-rimmed cowboy hat. Nervously, she pulls it down over her eyes. This disguise is perfect; no one can tell it’s her beneath the layers of fabric. But when she runs into someone, and the hat falls off her head, she gulps.
“Ah--... I’m so sorry,” she says. After she has swiped the hat off the ground, she squeezes it on her ears. “It was an accident, I swear...!” Her cover is blown, and she knows it. Terror rings in her gut. What will Iris do? Will she yank on her pigtails and scream, I found her! I found Hatsune Miku! Or will she pretend not to have noticed?
