With the passing of their King, Late King Aurelius Erlen, meant his Eldest son Derek/Androtis Erlen was to be the New King. With much at stake; he chose a wiser approach rather than going in full force. Through discussion with his group of advisors, the Now King Erlen sought aid from King Ogden; the aid and protection under the pact formed with Glaszden Ustrima many millenia ago by his Great Grandfather; Athiess Erlen was now protected and would thus forth provide aide when required.

To the Queen’s surprise, a massive roar from the sky startled not only her, but her enemy. Shroud of shadow brought darkness to the sky above and with an electrifying jolt in various locations showered down over the enemy line as a tall dragon of shadow appeared before Queen Keldrina; a guarding yet offensive stance it took; soldiers appearing before him and got into offensive position against the Draeguun. Who was this dragon? Why was he and his Kin protecting her? To calm her confused yet worry filled brain, the male spoke ‘You needn’t worry, Queen Keldrina, I am the Late King Zennor’s long time Ally, King Ogden; I am here to take you to safe Haven. Rest now.’ with a tender claw to the top of the Queen’s forehead, the female had lost consciousness and was taken away from battle to recover.

In recent years, however,  the clan had struggled with keeping its birthrate up so much so that by the time the most recent monarch took over, it was mostly a clan of Elders. The rebel clans nearby took notice of this and out of respect to the Elders that didn’t want to give up their home she stayed. It was only when the Prince was gravely injured that the Queen Veola Cloutier went against their wishes and offered King Kyrin Ogden of Glaszden Ustrima her hand in return for the safety of her clan thus basically merging the two together. 

How, Why? At the Head of the Clan was Kyrin Ogden, a powerful Dragon in more than just physical strength. He held abilities beyond what most enemies could even begin to fathom. With much to gain, though even more to lose; it was a way of life he had thus adapted to quite well. Doing what was needed to keep his family protected, keep them safe, no one dare threaten if they valued their very lives; because King Ogden was not one to take matters lightly.
