I keep my main self insert a secret because I know if I didn't it would reveal my identity LOLZ but I'd love to tell you in DMs if you'd like!!! I use them for almost all of my HP selfships
but the one I have separate that I actually CAN tell you about is the one I have to ship with Peter Pettigrew and also Hagrid!! their name is Tilly, they're nonbinary, they're snape's teacher assistant (I don't ship romantically with snape I just love potions and also they can be goth together)
they're a squib, which is actually where I got my URL from, because they were the first self insert I made and the one I was originally gonna use for everything else too until I made my other one lol. and also because hagrid uses transfiguration spells to turn them into a rabbit when they ask him to because they like being one, and hagrid loves to tend to them when they are
and as for their lore with peter, (which I also have in fic form yaayyy) I have an AU where they're the one who kept scabbers as a pet instead of ron, and they do their absolute best to take care of him, and so when peter gets discovered, he confesses to tilly that he's an animagus because he'd rather tell them than have someone else tell them, and (at first) they don't knwo what he did so they're the only one who doesn't react in disgust and they help each other with their loneliness and self-loathing and even when tilly eventually finds out what peter's done they're the ONLY one who doesn't loathe him endlessly for it so they become each others' solaces
