A/N: Just a little thing I wanted to write

Even before the door slammed shut from what sounded to be frustration, [Name] already knew that something was amiss with their husband.

Veritas grunted as he took his cape off and hung it onto the hook near the front door. He takes his sandals off and nearly throws it onto the shoe rack underneath the hook.

He sighs as he comes down the hallway, past the kitchen, and dining room and towards the living room, where his partner was most likely reading.

True to that, their partner was sitting with their feet on the couch, reading one of his scrolls. He huffed before sitting down next to them and pulling them onto his lap, their legs splayed across his own.

"You alright, my love?" His partner asks, laying their head on his broad chest.

"Those absolute fools of students that I teach have been driving me up the wall with their idiocy." He complains.

Ratio lays his head on his love's shoulder, finding a mild comfort from being in their presence.

"It must have been horrible, my darling." They coo, gently carding their fingers through his deep purple hair. It's almost as if the doctor becomes boneless by their touch and immediately leans in to receive more of it.

"Would you like some tea? It might calm you down?" Their partner says as they continue to run their fingers through his hair.

The man shakes his head no and seemingly falls asleep with his head layed on his love's shoulder.
