So, if Talbert and Taggart know about Lefty, and if they have a journal from Chance with whatever information he had...does that mean they potentially have the footage from inside Mike and Mari's house as well? Or was that footage never technically saved anywhere?

Fortunately, they didn't get ahold of that footage. Chance did manage to cover up some of what he found successfully, and that would've been one of those things that wasn't vital to hold onto.

...Unfortunately, they ARE aware of Marionette's living situation and Mike being his 'handler/caretaker'. That's part of the reason why their efforts are luring Marionette into the Pizzaplex more than going out to find him. Because if he avoids them, odds are he's going back to a contained environment that they can keep their eyes on.

Later a similarly named but not actually the same guy Scientist named Dr.Talbert who is explains its 'Haunted' but only in Nonscientific terms, he says it is basically born from the memories of what was, making something 'Almost Real again'

So...There are no actual ghosts, its more like..Copies?

It's a pretty overly complicated way of trying to tone down the fact that a bunch of people died and are now stuck in machines. XD Or a way of explaining so many creatures being haunted without having to keep a body count. Likely the latter more than the former.

Though the characters of Taggart and Talbert themselves aren't much to be trusted. I mean, the one guy thinks he can build a mental wall of positivity and the other was a Henry. Very questionable people if I do say so myself.
