Captain N Cels and Sketches W/Mouth and Eye Sequences

I’m gonna cheat and use my new acquisitions as today’s scan post. Although truth be told, this was a lot to scan and edit, so it is certainly more than a single scan today. LOL

While it is only 3 main cels in today’s batch, each came with multiple eye or mouth (or both) layers, mostly in sequence, to complete part of the animation for these scenes. Which is something new and different for what I have collected previously.

The first two cels, featuring Kevin and Mega, plus Dr. Right, come from the Season 3 episode, A Tale of Two Dogs. Kevin and Mega’s is at the end of the episode after defeating Wily with robot bees, as Rush speaks with his cheesy line about Dr. Wily, saying “something must ‘bee’ bugging him. Arf arf arf.” Kevin and Mega turn to each other and ask each other simultaneously, “Did you say something?” Because Scooby Doo Rush shouldn’t exist yet!

So, they won’t make a high-definition Captain N Blu Ray? Oh yeah...well...I’ll make my own Captain N high-quality animation!! With blackjack! And hookers! In fact, forget the animation! Eh, whatever, fine, I’ll animate it.

Dr. Right’s cel is from early on in the ep., as he and Wily work on their peace robot (Hippie Gamma). They descend down the elevator, and Wily leaves through a portal to get his control device, while Dr. Right just smugly smiles and blinks there. 

Or, I can make those half-closed eyes, and smugly-amused look last longer...

The last cel of just Kevin is from Ep. 5, Mega Trouble in Megaland. As the N Team teleports in to Cutsman’s stage together, Kevin poses here and says, “Whooooaa, that was some kind of drop!” 

This cel was pretty complete with mouth cels, but was missing a few of the eyes inbetween. It still gave me like 15 variations, which I threw together like so. Sync in your own dialogue:
