the original title of the side story was called "ugliness" but was changed to capture the nuances of the content.
醜悪 (しゅうあく, shuuaku) is made of:
醜 (しゅう, shuu) = ugly, unsightly, shameful
悪 (あく, aku) = evil, bad, wicked
shuuaku is already a stronger word than "ugliness" also carrying shades of the following...
grotesque
vile
sordid
disgusting
reprehensible
the word "shuuaku" can be used to describe something visually repellant and morally corrupt behavior.
the word "shuuaku" was purposefully chosen to capture that dr. blaster is "ugly" in both body and soul.
