Okay, since we're getting the "they're in high school so they're obviously underage" takes again, friendly reminder that most of the cast of DR1 are at least 18 years old in the first game, and the cast of DR2 are a year older than them.
True, there's no source on how old the DRV3 cast is, but given the precedent set by the other games, we can probably safely assume they are of age as well.
Once again, it is important to remember that there while are almost* no canon ages for these characters, the majority of the cast are explicitly or implicitly 18 or over.
*The exception is Hagakure, who is explicitly in his early 20s.

where are these anons coming from oh my god. also to the anon calling themself "Trans dude who has at least a shred of logic", danielle is a trans woman. even if you dont believe chihiro is a trans woman, there is undeniably some level of transmisogyny in the fact all the characters instantly call chihiro a boy after her dead body is examined, even if you think chihiro identifies as a man. as a trans man, you shouldnt speak over a trans woman on the transmisogyny in chihiros writing
this this this 👆
that scene is rife with transmisogyny regardless of how chihiro actually identifies. folks seem to think you can only have transmisogyny when it’s explicitly directed toward trans women? which is confusing and incorrect. i’ve previously compared it to the standard “man-in-a-dress joke”, which usually doesn’t involve any trans women but is still obviously transmisogynistic as hell ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm not going to delve into this further, but I may as well give my view on this.
@yndr4hopecallout I don't know why you wanted me to spread your callout post, but whatever your intentions were, this was the wrong way to go about it.
I can't tell if what you disapprove of is the making of the content, or them not tagging it appropriately.
Callout posts, even if for a good cause, and whether I agree or not, are generally pointless.
There are steps you take before making a callout post. If you have a problem with someone tagging r/pe as dubcon, or you feel they are missing certain tags, bring it up to the artist politely. You show respect before demanding it of others. If the person does not respond well (like the guy tagging people in gore), then that is when I'd say a callout post is necessary. But in this case, there was no mention of communication.
If you think making that kind of content is not allowed, then I don't know what to tell you. We are in a fandom about a series where minors are killing minors, sometimes in gruesome ways. Sometimes they even commit suicide. There are hints, or explicit mentions, of abuse.
I know that the kinks are extreme, and I don't share in that artist's headcanons or characterizations. Just because I don't approve, doesn't mean they have to change.
Artistic expression does not mean they would approve of this in real life. It also doesn't mean they are bad people for drawing/writing problematic things. Humans can have kinks, and they could be something very problematic. It is either they be allowed to express them in a different way, or we have people that act out on it, or the suppression can lead to negatively affecting their life.
I don't know what it is you were trying to accomplish here, but whatever it was, this is not the way to do it.
You're basically saying yndr and starsinew has to only make content you find appropriate. If anything, it is you who decided to police what is appropriate to express, or you didn't communicate with yndr or starsinew to add additional tags before making your callout post about it.
You insinuate that everyone that disagrees with you are terrible human beings. That's just... pointless. That means that you get to choose who is or isn't a "good" person based on one aspect. You don't know these people, or why they like yndr or starsinew. And no one said the people following them had to follow, like, comment, or reblog their work. This changed nothing. They will continue to do what they normally did, if maybe more discreetly for a while.
If your goal was to expose terrible people, the finger now points to you, because you want to dictate what other people make, or how they should run their blogs/social media profiles. You want to dictate that other people should feel just as mortified as you for content that you didn't need to expose yourself, or others, to.
In conclusion: callout posts like this are just pointless because it doesn't change how anyone views the persons called out. Unless that person is intentionally causing harm, like not tagging their sensitive content even after being asked to politely, or being rude about it with a person that was not being rude with them, the people who don't like these people will continue not liking them, and the people who do like these people will stand up for them.

Attacking people for calling Chihiro Fujisaki cis makes you seem like an asshole. People have their own opinion, you can call Chihiro a trans girl, I don't care but don't go around attacking people for it. Don't be an asshole. -Trans dude who has at least a shred of logic
idk if you’ve noticed but i’m mostly replying to posts that are attacking people for calling chihiro fujisaki trans? and like, explaining why it’s reasonable and even prudent to reclaim her as trans? which seems more like a logical argument rooted in analysis of the text, defending my position against an attack, than an attack to me
ppl be constantly posting “not so friendly reminder”s about how chi is definitely 100% cis and i’m a horrible person with shitty transphobic views if i claim otherwise. it’s wild.
Ok so I just watched Leon's trial again and here's the thing
I still cry when I watch it. Even more so now honestly. Each time I'm reminded how freaking unfair it was. Not just to him as a victim, but as a character. He had no choice. I want to know what went down in that room. Yes, it was dumb of him to meet someone in their room, but he put his trust in Maizono. The only musical person in the whole building was obviously going to be the one this aspiring Rockstar would have pushed to be with. She inspired him, and in a moment of weakness created by admiration, he let his guard down and trusted her. This actually proves him to be more trusting and heartfelt than her, who in that moment, wanted to frame another who trusted her so she could get out. Leon does not carry any of the characteristics of a murderer and it pains me all the time that someone innocent at heart could still be sentenced to such a horrible end to barely be mentioned again. That's another thing that bothers me. He was completely wasted as a character. It seems every character plays a bigger role or had more screen time. Why waste a complex, we'll designed, full of potential character? Maizono is shown as a major character still, junko is obviously, and everyone else was given more screen time than him. It makes me upset that some ultimately boring characters survived. I think leon had a lot of potential for character development and just as the character he was. Keep in mind this is, at the end of the day, my interpretation. Yall can think what you want but I'm not going to be convinced.
