Despite Kida's body aches and pain, she wanted to at least keep up a healthy facade. She welcomed the prank from Violet. Sure, she probably shouldn't be out of bed, but she couldn't resist. It wasn't a high heel kind of day, so she threw on some beat up docs and tried to look semi-decent. But it was next to impossible. It was close enough. She left her dorm room and made her way to the gym. The door to the girls locker room held so many wonderful possibilities. She wiped some sweat off her forehead and waited on her new friend. The camera was stashed in her bag. The best way to keep their hands clean, would be to hide the camera before unleashing the crickets and come back later for it. Footsteps echoed on the tile and Kida looked up. Violet had a smirk on her lips. At least something could brighten Kida's day. 

Kida's breakdown had drained all her energy, but after a good night of sleep. And a handful of pills, she felt like tackling the world again. For a girl who cleaned up, she's doing an awful job staying that way. She tried to remind herself of what happened the last time she tried to forget with drugs. The memory still scared her, but something stronger pulled her back towards the needle. She was in her room, the sunlight filtering through the dirty window. The beams fell across her guitar and laptop. Her song was on there. She needed to put herself back in that mindset. She grabbed the guitar and threw her laptop in her bag. The auditorium was empty and she set the amp up quickly. After digging through her music files she pulled up the rest of the band playing the song. She hit the play button and began to sing. "Somebody mixed my medicine." Her voice was soft against the mic sitting center stage.
