It wasn't everyday that Christmas presents suddenly appeared at her door and honestly she hadn't expected it. Presents? From people she barely spoke to? She was so surprised by the kind gesture from the people who had taken the time to wrap up some gifts or even take the time from their days to find her something. A smile growing on her face as she overlooked each one and honestly adored each of them. However it then hit her that she hadn't gotten them anything at all and she couldn't just let that happen. So she grabbed some paper and began to write to each single one of them.
I loved your present, it was amazing and I hadn't expected anything at all for the holidays. I didn't even know if I should get someone anything and now I just feel the need to return your kindness. It'll be a late present but it'll happen and don't you try stopping me. I am now determined. :) Thanks again and Merry Christmas to you.

This was in no way her trying to just cover her ass for not giving anyone anything. This was her wanting to show that she was thankful because not even her parents had taken their time to give her anything. Dash made her way around the dorm building to leave the letters and then went back to her room to look up some nice gifts.

Cinnamon Rolls and Other Things || Mianca
Bianca knocked loudly on Mel's door before bobbing back and forth on the balls of her feet. It was early, not un-godly early like the actual time that the redhead had woken up that morning, but it was early enough to indicate she meant business. At 3AM her mind woke her up and wouldn't shut up for the next several hours to the point that she just gave up on sleeping all together and spent a bit of time in the kitchen before arriving at her friend's door at precisely 8:30AM, freshly baked cinnamon rolls held in front of her as a peace offering. I really hope her roommate isn't there, she bit her lip and waited. Binks was almost certain that she was just driving herself crazy with worry when it wasn't necessary at all, but then again she could also be completely wrong. She needed a second opinion. She needed Mel. "Meeeel," she sort of sang to the door - half whined - hoping to grab the attention of the girl in question, knocking once more.
Bianca finished packing the gifts into a pretty box, complete with tissue paper carefully wrapped around the glass containers and some assorted candies just for fun. She was proud of herself. Lately she'd been recovering from specific events but she wasn't about to let that get in the way of her friend's birthday. She never forgot things like that. For her, it was the most important date in any relationship. Lifting the box, which was a tiny bit heavier than one would assume, she carried it to Mel's room. Placing the box down, she knocked on the door and ran off to peak around the corner. Her plan was to give Mel a taste of her own "gift and leave" medicine, though she couldn't resist watching to see the reaction of her friend.
